The William Penn Foundation awarded Philadelphia LISC a two-year $1,850,000 grant to support its Sustainable Communities Initiative.
The Kresge Foundation
$1,500,000
The Kresge Foundation renewed its significant commitment to LISC with a one-year $1,500,000 grant to support Sustainable Communities efforts across the country.
Citi Foundation
$1,112,000
The Citi Foundation made a two-year $1,000,000 commitment to LISC’s Family Income and Wealth Building program. Additional grants were awarded to the Bay Area, Chicago, Houston and Greater Kansas City programs, as well as LISC’s Field Resources & Learning Unit.
The Chicago Community Trust

The Chicago Community Trust awarded LISC/Chicago several grants, including funding to support the 15th Annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards, youth sports and fitness programs, and school-based health centers.
The Home Depot Foundation

The Home Depot Foundation awarded Philadelphia LISC a $725,000 grant to support green development in North Philadelphia.
Foundation to Promote Open Society

The Foundation to Promote Open Society made a two-year $560,000 commitment to LISC’s Family Income and Wealth Building program. This funding will support workforce development initiatives in neighborhoods with concentrated numbers of foreclosures.
Jessie Ball duPont Fund

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund renewed its commitment to LISC’s Jacksonville program with a $500,000 general operating support grant.
